great walking area - Panorama Walk, Barmouth (pictured above) and Mawddach Trail (as featured by the president of the Ramblers Association's, Julia Bradbury, in her Railway Walks) and every year during September there is the 10 day Barmouth Walking Festival, with walks for all categories of walker.
